Scarecrow Days 2023

Have an idea? Please leave a comment below or email the Scarecrow Days Chairperson Mia Toews at: exactshineautodetailing@hotmail.com.

Each year we try to find a theme that is easy for residents & businesses to execute and that will inspire & excite people into building a scarecrow.

We hope to announce the theme in a couple weeks so you have all summer to plan and collect building supplies.

This is one of the last busy weeks we have here at the garden centre for this season. Community hanging baskets and flowers to go out, and more shipments for our friends at the International Peace Gardens. To our awesome crew, our team, our family…thank you for all that you do. You work unbelievably hard to help make all this happen in four short months. You are appreciated more than you’ll ever know. Cheers to another fun season with all of you! To our amazing customers who support this small family business…thank you! We love what we do and we wouldn’t be here without you. We love helping you grow your gardens! To the communities we supply to….we hope you enjoy your flowers. It has been an honour to grow for you. Thank you all for your support! Xoxo, the Sadler’s team

Crescent Market

Hey local artists and vendors! This year for the Souris Peacock Days, we’re going to host an outdoor market on Crescent street! We will have the market July 8th and it will begin at noon. We currently have the space for 10-12 booths! If you are interested in having a table at the market we ask that you provide us with a $10 deposit to secure your spot. This deposit will be given back to you at the end of the market. For the deposit we ask that you pay it to the Ag society via etransfer, cash or cheque [we will provide the Ag society info via email]

We ask that all booths stay off the sidewalks and all booths are 10x10 or two parking stalls (max) in size! We also want to maintain our street, so no spikes allowed. If you wish to have a sun shade or gazebo you can use zip ties on the sidewalk railing!

If interested you can email us at peacockdaysandfair@gmail.com
