Souris TOPS group meets on Tuesdays at St. Paul's United Church, starting at 6:45. This is a group to support members as they move towards healthy eating and weight loss if that is a goal. We are thrilled to see that the roof repairs on the Hillcrest Museum are completed! The Souris Home Centre was able to donate approximately $6000 in materials to assist in completing the project. Sending out a big thank you to all of the Museum board members for organizing this fundraiser and ensuring this landmark will stand in our community for years to come!

HomeHardware Donation
During Scarecrow Days there was a 50/50 draw held at the car show on Sunday. Half of the proceeds of $500 were given to the Fellowship Club. In the picture below President of the Fellowship Club Mary Pertersen is accepting the money from Scott and Betty, owners of HomeHardware Souris.

New Cakes at 49 Degrees

Have you ever wished there was a smaller version of our ice cream cakes available? 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙠𝙚.
Our regular cakes are 10” round and finish at 3” tall. These Short Cakes have all the same flavors and deliciousness as our regular cake but are half the height! (Think of them as brownie height instead of layer cake height, snack-sized ).
Typically our regular cakes serve 8-12 and the shortcakes 4-6 - it all depends on how large you cut your slices!

Now that we are officially closed for the fall season, it's time to start thinking about our next season at the garden center......CHRISTMAS!
If you are wanting to pre-order your Christmas again this year, we encourage you to do so right away! This was extremely helpful with our ordering last year and we received excellent feedback from it. We are offering Semi-sheared and Premium Balsam, Econo-Grade Balsam, Premium Fraser Fir, and White Pine again this year.
