Happy Sunday, hope you had a great Canada Day yesterday!
5 Year Anniversary
Saturday the Souris Hotel celebrated 5 years of being open, they opened their doors on June 30th 2018, with a small gathering in the King Edward room at the Souris Hotel. They served cake, cupcakes, and watermelon. Darlene Janssen Manager lead the event with a speech thanking the staff, investors, the community, and the guests for the success of the hotel, They just received a Service Excellence award from Tourism Westman and also shared a few funny stories. She also gave a gift to of the employees that have been their for 5 years. They had a hot dog stand last Saturday and are having another one tomorrow (July 1st) with all proceeds going to the Souris Pool for a new spinal board and pool toys.
Darlene also donated $735 to the Hillcrest Museum renovation project and presented the cheque to Karen Kempe the President of the Hillcrest Museum Board.

We are proud to support the Souris Glenwood Golf Course as one of our six recipients of our tree planting initiative this year. With a $1500 donation, we're helping them bring more life and beauty to their course with new trees.

After what seems like a lifetime, we are FINALLY Licensed!!!
"So now what?" you may be asking!!! We just hit send on our first order and anticipate some of it reaching us later next week. That means opening day is actually COMING SOONer rather than later!!
We still have a few details to iron out before releasing our opening date.
