What an experience to be a finalist of 60 people in a business writing competition with Vision Quest, Community Futures and Indigenous Business Development Services!

There were 4 finalist invited to pitch their business plan through a competition called Dragons Quest to a panel of judges in hopes to win grant money to put towards funding your new business. The competition was fierce and everyone had a well thought out business plan and presentation, but with only 1 winner to be announced, we were excited to be called upon to bring home the 1st place prize of $7,500!!!

This was such an extraordinary experience to be apart of and I'm honoured to of been picked to pitch our business! I want to give a huge shout out to the 2nd place winner but not far from first my biggest competitor Eagle Outdoor Services who brought a strong presentation and an eagerness in growing his new business. Please contact them for all your outdoor service needs if you're in and around the winnipeg area!

Thank you for all the support I've gotten in and around the community of Souris and wishing me luck on this adventure, it truly means the world to me!

Last but certainly not least I must give a big thank you to my fiancé Trysten Jefferies who has been there from the beginning when we started this adventure and supported me along the way. I'm so very thankful for all you've done for me and my goals to be able to run my own business so thank you again! And I love you for that

Can't wait to see where our little business goes in the next year, but we're looking forward to it!

Thank you all!
