Souris Food Bank
Souris & Area Harvest Food Bank has been active for 15 years! In that time we have given out 6,434 hampers with 424 of them being in 2023. Our amazing volunteers have created a well organized system to allow us to help as many people and families as possible. BUT they couldn't do it without the support of our community. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in any way over the years

Souris 4-H
Souris 4-H Challengers are once again selling pails of ice salt. We currently have a few pails on hand but are taking pre-sale names and numbers until November 13, when you can pick up your pail from a 4-H member in the rink parking lot. These are $30 a pail and are pet and sidewalk friendly. Please contact Heather, 204-741-0753 to get your order in today. Delivery also available if needed.

The Souris Christmas Cheer Committee is getting ready for their busy holiday season. Letters to previous recipients will be going out in the mail next week.
Souris Gospel Chapel
Hi everyone! This year our church is setting up a table and handing out bags of candy for Halloween this is our first year doing this so I will post this a couple of times so people know where to go. We are 61 second street S.
Do remember at this fun time to watch your kid's candy if your child has allergies. Happy week before Halloween.
Souris School Fundraisers
We are collecting and filling shoeboxes at the school. If you would like a shoebox to fill please call in between 9:00 - 4:00 to pick one up. You can get more information at www.samaritanspurse.ca
Souris School would like to thank everyone that supported the cheese fundraiser. We currently have 2 other fundraisers on the go. The Travel Club is selling Mom’s Pantry to help reduce costs for their upcoming trip to Quebec. The Middle Years students are selling Poinsettias to raise funds for Middle Years events. If you would like to support either of these fundraisers please contact the school or reach out to a student involved.
There will be other fundraisers happening in the New Year. I will post information when we have it!
