The Peacocks Are Back!
Our Community Mascots, the peacocks are now out & about town! A few will remain in the enclosure by the barn in the park. The rest will wander through town. Please!!! Do not FEED them. You may love having them in your yard but your neighbours may not! They are fed in the park & that is where we would like to keep them rather than in residential areas. Thank you for your cooperation!
River Is Open - River Rat Rentals
The river is open and paddle season is upon us! Hooray! That means that Wild Women Wednesdays will also soon be back in action.
For those that are unfamiliar, WWW is a casual weekly women’s paddle night on the river. It’s either BYO boat or River Rat Rentals can hook you up with a rental option!
Last summer we had a solid crew of regular paddlers and it was awesome to meet some new local gals! Good times all around!
If you want to check it out or have any questions let me know. We will likely start meeting up again in June! Stay tuned.
