Having great neighbors and local machinists is the best thing since sliced bread! GOOD NEWS: thanks to Arnold & Diana Matiowsky lending us the tool needed to take apart our broken bread slicer and the crew at Tufts Machining doing their thing - we now have a working bread slicer again! We are bready to rock n roll! Woohoo!

Job Description Cashier/Customer Service Souris Pharmasave Souris, MB R0K 2C0 Pharmasave Souris is an independently owned community pharmacy. We are seeking a part time - casual Cashier/Customer Service representative to assist the front store manager with retail operations. We are open 9-6 Monday to Friday and 9-5 on Saturday. Primary Responsibilities
● Acknowledge customers in a friendly and respectful manner. ● Scan and bag all products in an accurate and efficient manner. ● Ask for price verification or overrides when required. ● Inform customers of in-store promotions, pricing specials, etc. ● Manage customer flow at cash by calling for additional cashier or supervisor assistance. ● Answer incoming calls to front cash and redirect to other departments as requested; take and deliver message when required in a prompt manner. ● Assist with customer inquiries and call for assistance when needed. ● Process returns as per the store policy. ● Ensure cash area is kept neat, tidy, well organized. ● Ensure staff and customer safety by addressing or reporting potential barriers or hazards on store property. ● Anticipate and communicate request for cash-pulls (“skims”) in a timely manner as per store guidelines. ● Communicate with Front-End Manager, Supervisor and/or Management regarding any issues that require follow-up or attention. ● Complete any additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Expectations
● Complete all required training modules. ● Demonstrate strong sense of customer service. ● Maintain professional image, including complete uniform, name tag, and proper grooming. ● Possess strong communication skills and attention to detail. ● Ability to work flexible shifts. ● Possess strong organizational skills. ● Possess team player approach with others. ● Have a strong sense of ownership for roles and responsibilities.
